The purpose of this device is to measure the relationship between Density and moisture content of soil using standard compaction method, in order to determine the maximum density and optimum moisture content of soil.
Applicable to the current national standard and water conservancy, electric power, railway industry standards. Light compaction test is suitable for the cohesive soil particle size less than 5 mm. Heavy compaction test is suitable for the soil particle size is smaller than 20 mm.
